- 1.2 Describe variation in how different species manifest sex.
- 1.3 Explain the mechanisms of genetic inheritance of chromosomal sex.
- 1.4 Compare mechanisms of sex determination across species.
- 2.1 Describe variation in asexual reproduction across animals, plants and fungi.
- 2.2 Explain the evolutionary advantages and disadvantages of asexual reproduction.
- 2.3 Articulate how selection contributes to the persistence of sexual reproduction in various groups.
- 2.4 Explain how colonial living evolves through division of labor in reproduction.
- 3.1 Explain how sexual selection influences animal mating systems.
- 3.2 Describe different mating systems in plants and how they evolved.
- 3.3 Describe fungal life cycles and mating systems.
