Amy Selby, CLSE Advisor, Recognized by College of Arts and Sciences

Amy Selby, Center for Life Sciences Education biology advisor.

Amy Selby, CLSE Advisor, received recognition from the College of Arts and Sciences for her extraordinary contributions during the pandemic. It was noted that during the pandemic she developed step-by-step Zoom instructions to help staff who were previously inexperienced leading online meetings. To help students unfamiliar with Zoom, she instituted daily reminder emails for her advisees, a practice she continues due to its popularity. She was a leader in moving survey to remote delivery and developed several stress relief activities, such as identifying additional peer mentors for survey class students. She also adapted a” Campus Resources” project to an online format that is still in use today. Congratulations Amy! CLSE appreciates all your creativity and hard work!
