Undergraduate Student Study Abroad Scholarships
Undergraduate students who are planning to study abroad are encouraged to apply for the following scholarships by completing one online application: Undergraduate International Experiences Grants, Roth Family Endowment Scholarships, Humanities Study Abroad Scholarships, Keith and Linda Monda International Experience Scholarships. Please see Study Abroad and Travel Funds for a listing of funds and eligibility requirements. The application deadline is February 1.
Undergraduate Research Scholarships
Arts and Sciences Undergraduate Research Scholarships support students who have attained junior standing and are a potential candidate for graduation with research distinction or present other evidence of work on a significant research project. Scholarships range from $500 to approximately $9,000. Applicants are required to have a faculty sponsor. For more information, please visit Undergraduate Research Scholarships. The application deadline is February 4.
Merit and Need-Based Scholarships
Undergraduate students majoring in the humanities and natural and mathematical sciences are encouraged to apply for merit and need-based scholarships. Funding will be applied toward 2013 – 2014. For scholarship eligibility specifics and the online application visit merit and need-based scholarships. The application deadline is February 15.
Kathryn Sullivan Scholarship
The Kathryn Sullivan Scholarship supports undergraduate Arts and Sciences students with a preference for junior or senior women who are majoring or minoring in the sciences, who have a passion for exploration and/or aerospace, and who are in good academic standing. However, this scholarship may be awarded to any candidate in any Arts and Sciences major. This fund supports undergraduate research, field work, or attendance/presentation at a significant conference. The application deadline is February 15.
Summer Research Funding
Mayers Summer Research Scholarships provide funding for natural and mathematical sciences majors.
URO Summer Research Fellowships support independent research conducted with an OSU faculty member.
Summer Honors Research Scholarships support honors research and thesis projects.
Holbrook Research Abroad Fellowships support independent research abroad with the guidance of an OSU faculty member.
Students may apply for all of the above via a joint application. For more information, contact the Undergraduate Research Office or visit URO. The application deadline is February 15.
