Two CLSE GTAs selected for GATA!

The Center for Life Sciences Education is proud to announce that two of our veteran TAs have won The Ohio State University Graduate Teaching Associate Award (http://www.gradsch.osu.edu/graduate-associate-teaching-award-winners-2012.html ) Sara Cline, a Molecular Genetics doctoral student, taught with CLSE seven times between 2006-2012. Her time with us was split among Biology 101, 102, and 113.  She has been an active participant in TA professional development activities and has consistently sought out activities to help her become an outstanding biology instructor.  Scott Stuckman, an Environmental Sciences doctoral student,taught Biology 101 three times between 2008-2009 and has continued to  interact with CLSE staff during his sustained study of teaching and learning. Scott has demonstrated an amazing ability to communicate complexScott Stuckman scientific concepts in a way that encourages students to be motivated to learn more.
