Our office is staffed Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with summer hours of 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Please plan ahead: Appointments fill quickly during scheduling periods and may be booked several weeks in advance.

Honors Students

Biological Sciences Scholars
Students in the Biological Sciences Scholars program work with Melissa Basford, the Program Manager.
Virtual Drop-Ins
Biology Advisors host weekly virtual drop-in hours for Biology students. Students can meet with their assigned advisor. Contact your advisor for more information. Please note that drop-ins should approximately take 10 minutes or less.

There will be no drop-in hours during academic breaks or Summer Semester.
Items that are Appropriate for Drop-Ins
- Quick schedule changes for students who don’t have access to change schedules on their own. You must come with a specific open class you would like to add.
- Urgent matters that must be completed before the end of the first week of classes
- Quick questions regarding GE or Biology major requirements
- Urgent SAP appeals or Consortium Agreements for the current semester
- Urgent 18+ credit hour petitions (if truly appropriate for the student)

- Graduation Applications
- Long range class or career planning
- Requests for Letters of Recommendation
- Long range Pre-Health or Graduate School advising
- Petition work (Curriculum Petitions, Registration Petitions, etc.)
- Academic Probation conferences
- Dismissal appeals
- Reinstatement inquires, petitions, etc.
